Hey I’m Valerie, Marketing Lead and Technical Specialist for RPS Solar Pumps

Providing a pump for off-grid water so that a farm could open up to visitors, host workshops and take their small business to the next level. The solar pump made all the difference between a new revenue stream and just spinning their wheels for another season. They were so busy with kids and running the farm that one less thing to worry about was an actual life-changer for them. 

RPS straight talks to customers and gives them personalized attention to make sure that they know their hard earned dollars aren’t being wasted. I’m pleased to work somewhere that values a lifelong commitment to the people we’re selling a solar pump to. Plus, we don’t have to work in the city or a typical office setting.  Our workplace is right next to other ag for tomatoes and asparagus, tractors pull through fields every couple months right outside our windows. We use our own solar pumps to grow gardens and can raise chickens (I’m brining in 4 new chicks to live on the RPS office land!).

I had a guy out in west Texas who really needed some BIG water for a large herd of cattle. We’re talking middle of nowhere, takes a couple hours to get to. We went through the entire sizing process a few times over, just making small tweaks to make sure we sent out the right system. I think his picture says it all, he was tickled.

Homesteads! They combine livestock watering, making ponds, providing household water and irrigating to grow food. People who come to us have been dreaming about owning a piece of land, building their own home, raising animals and escaping the grind for years. We get to put that final piece of the puzzle in place for them, providing water to the parcel. It means they can permanently reside there and just do basic things like mix concrete without having to truck in water.
