Remember to do a Bucket Test!

Fill a large receptacle ( water tank, garbage can, or tote will work) with fresh clean water.

Place your pump into the receptacle. Ensure that the water level is ABOVE the mesh filter/inlet on your pump.

After ensuring your pump is connected to the controller and submerged in the water, provide power to your controller. The system will automatically start when you connect your controller either to your panels or to your ac power source.

All RPS pumps use a slow-start/ Slow-stop so the pump will begin to pump water within the next 20-30 seconds. If the pump does not begin to gush water, check the troubleshooting diagram.

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR POND HEALTHY?

Pond aeration is the process of mixing oxygen with your pond’s water. Our pump systems eliminate foul odors and keep fish alive by mixing the warm and stagnante top layer of your ponds water with the cooler bottom layer, while increasing the amount of oxygen in the water.

a properly aerated pond can hold twice the amount of fish that a non-aerated pond could hold!

Healthy ponds need help circulating water to stave off algae growth, feed beneficial microbes, protect against fish kill and most importantly, incorporate dissolved oxygen. Fountain Aeration is preventative maintenance when talking about organic material (weeds, muck, algae, etc). If pond health is really bad, chemicals may be needed on top of aeration.
