The Strongest Solar Water Pump for Deep Well Applications -Pro5000D
A Pro5000D is a 5 HP submersible water pump designed for wells up to 1,150 deep, or pumping up steep hills of a similar head. Made of super strong 304 stainless steel, designed to withstand a variety of adverse conditions (we use these pumps in gold mine wells and even ocean water). The pump is rated for a lifetime of 20 years and also rated for continuous operation. Running the pump for 8 hours + each day will not endanger or damage the pump in any way. One the solar side of things, this 5 Hp model uses about 6,500W of solar power, that’s the largest solar array we carry! Drop the pump on galvanized steel piping, the only pipe that is strong enough to handle 700+ feet of gravity and weight from parts. Our Pro Series D systems use hearty 3-Phase Motors and 3.9″ Pump Ends. Our controllers are the best in the world and allow customization and optimization based on sun and season. Easily switch between solar and another 220V backup power source when the sun isn’t shining, like a generator or grid power, using the Pro Controller auto-switching feature. While the four systems outline below are our most popular sizes, we regularly help design systems with pumps up to 6″ and multiple 5 HP models for larger projects.

This Dewatering pump is a 5 HP “grinder” pump that can be placed in a variety of applications in ponds, rivers, field tiles or whatever you dream up! Flow rates exceed 470 gallons per minute. Fantastic for larger projects. Our Dewatering Pumps are super high volume, low head applications where water may contain solids (max 2” solids diameter). Capable of running dry and performing 24/7 operation without damage. This 3-Phase “grinder” pump is ideal for dirty field tiles or large irrigation projects.
